Questions about the free template

Is it really free?

Yes. The independent consultant template is free to get. Salient also has paid subscriptions, and you can pay the Salient team to set the site up for you if you prefer.

Is it only for people who worked in the NHS?

No. The wording is written for former health service professionals, but you can edit it for any consultant.

Can I use NHS branding?

No. Do not use the NHS logo or wording that suggests you represent or are endorsed by an NHS body. The template includes an independence note for you.

What about confidentiality and conflicts of interest?

Check your leaving terms and your professional rules before you market yourself, and never publish confidential information or client names without written permission.

Will it win me NHS contracts?

Not by itself. Much NHS consultancy is bought through frameworks and agencies. A site works best alongside LinkedIn, and for private-sector, charity and health-tech clients.
